The profile areas are organised in themes based on research environments now available at Mid Sweden University. They are considered to have good research potentials, and therefore they will also contribute to social interests such as welfare, safety, and growth. Researchers in the areas work at both national and international levels. Many of them are closely linked to regional issues.
