1. Choose coursesExchange students can apply to study part of a Bachelor or Master’s programme, or apply for single courses. A complete semester is one with the total amount of 30 credits, built up by either separate courses of 7.5–15 credits or one course of 30 credits. The university does not recommend students to choose a workload exceeding 30 credits per semester. The courses are usually taken one after the other (consecutive scheduling) and the applicant needs to choose courses accordingly. When applying for single courses the important thing to remember is to choose courses that starts at different times during the semester so that the student do not end up with four courses that all start at the same time. The single courses are divided into the undergraduate and the graduate level. On the undergraduate level, most courses have the labels A, B or C. A corresponds to the basic level courses, B to continuation courses and C to specialised courses.
