Mwilumbwa, Tanzania, Ecotechnology and Sustainable Development

Why did you choose to study International Master's Programme in Ecotechnology and Sustainable Development?

I have a bachelor degree in Environmental engineering and I wanted to take further studies in the environmental field and focus more on sustainability.

What do you think about Mid Sweden University?

The University offers lots of practical studies which make the subjects easy to understand and makes the studying process interesting. The courses are structured in a way that makes us think in a systematic way which is very important in our field.

What does a typical week look like?

For weekdays it depends on the school schedule but it usually ranges from classes, studies and group discussions. I usually go to church on Thursdays and on the weekends I like to relax by watching movies, visiting friends and trying out new recipes.

What do you think about Östersund?

I love the fact that I am never too far away from nature, the forests, the lake and rivers. Östersund is a small beautiful town and a great place to be studying.

What would you like to do after graduating?

I would like to work as an environmental consultant in my country but I would first like to work here in the same field.  Sweden is in the forefront when it comes to environmental issues.
