Why did you choose Electronics design at Mid Sweden University?

Being interested in embedded sensor systems and seeing a great opportunity for finding a job in this field made me choose Electronics design. Since the Electronic department of Mid Sweden actively works in this field, it made me want to pursue my studies here.

What does a typical week look like?

Since I am in second year of study of my Master’s degree, I do projects and because of that I spend most of the time in university but I also play basketball and go swimming during the week.

What did you do prior to your studies here?

I worked for an industrial company where I was responsible for designing substation systems and protection panels.

What do you think about Mid Sweden University?

Well, education at Mid Sweden University runs parallel to current research and students are encouraged to extend their analytical thinking so they can be well prepared for their future careers.

What is it like to live in Mid Sweden?

Well, having an easy access to the university at any time is a great chance for students to spend most of their time at university.  And secondly, since Mid Sweden university is a small university, there is a great chance for international students to find lots of friends.

What will you be doing in five years from now?

I think I will have enough experience to find a good job, so I am going to apply for a job. I am also thinking about going for a PhD in the future.
