Bakgrund

Imran received his Master in Electrical Engineering from Linköping University, Sweden in 2007 and PhD in Electronics Design from Mid Sweden University, Sweden in 2013. Since then, he is working in visual sensor systems group at STC research Center.

Forskningsområden

Embedded vision/video processing systems with relevance to battery driven devices for surveillance and Machine vision applications which have low energy, high performance and re-configurability requirements.

Pågående forskning

· Architecture exploration based on intelligence partitioning among hardware (FPGA), software (Microprocessor) and cloud platforms.
.Design methodologies, synthesis and implementation of solutions for FPGA side.
