Lee Miles, Professor of International Relations in Loughborough, UK, is visiting Mid-Sweden University, campus Östersund, December 16-19. Professor Miles will give a lecture on multi-level governance structures on 18 December, 10.15-12.00 at F229.
Lee Miles is Professor of International Relations (IR) at Loughborough University, UK and also holds a Professorship in Political Science at Karlstad University, Sweden. Lee has written extensively on the foreign policies of the Nordic Countries, the politics of European integration and Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA). Prior to this, Lee held tenured positions at the universities of Liverpool, Hull, and Lincoln, and has twice been awarded the title of Jean Monnet Chair by the European Union. As well as being the author and/or editor of over ten books, most recently, Miles, L. and Wivel, A. (eds) (2014) Denmark and the European Union (Routledge), he has been the Lead Editor for the leading peer reviewed International Relations (IR) journal, Cooperation and Conflict (Sage; 2010–13) and the Journal of Common Market Studies (JCMS) Annual Review of the European Union (Wiley; 2003–2005).
