Internships ‑ an important bridge between studies and working life
Business and economics students Sebastian Shahriarolmolki and Piyatida Paleekui have just completed their five-week internship at SCA. As third-year students in accounting and finance, they have worked in the finance function, including with harmonization of work processes and government reporting.
The internship has been carried out through the CER network. Camilla Bergmansson, Group Manager at SCA's Business Services, has been one of the students' supervisors together with colleagues Anna Söderqvist and Lisa Källgren who work in Accounting and Financial Control at Business Services.
"We have got a very good impression of Sebastian and Piyatida who have had an internship with us. They have contributed both in their daily work and with positive energy, great commitment and new perspectives," says Camilla Bergmansson and continues:
"We see internships as an important bridge between studies and working life. For students, it provides the opportunity to put theoretical knowledge into practice and gain an insight into what everyday life looks like in a potential future workplace.
