CER Day with award ceremonies
At this year's CER Day at the Grönborg's atrium, prizes, scholarships and diplomas were awarded.
For the thirteenth time in a row, the Foundation for Economic Research awarded scholarships with a greeting from the Foundation's chairman, former County Governor Gerhard Larsson. The research prize of SEK 75,000 was awarded to Professor Robert V. Kozinets at the University of Southern California in the United States.
Robert V. Kozinet was rewarded for having participated in a number of CER-related activities in Sundsvall, including a review of the research method netnography, an application of ethnographic methods to understand digital interaction. This year's thesis scholarship of SEK 7,500 went to master's student Paulina Persson Winlöv.
The Foundation for the Promotion of Business Education in Norrland awarded the Sundekon Economics Student Association a scholarship of SEK 10,000. The award was presented by Lisa Tynnemark, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board of Sundsvall Municipality. Furthermore, CER's centre director, Peter Öhman, handed out diplomas to the companies that signed agreements with CER until 2026 and that attended this year's CER day: Diös, HSB Södra Norrland, LF Västernorrland, Nordea, Pro&Pro, SCA and Skandia.
