Organization
As shown in the organizational chart, CER is a research center at the Mid Sweden University. CER is led by a board and a director responsible for the operational activities. The director is part of a board, representing the CER network.
Partners and collaborations
CER’s collaborations include the public sector, business community and academia. CER has especially close collaborations with the companies and public organisations that are part of the CER network (which are depicted inside the respective rings in the figure).
Current partners includes Diös, HSB Södra Norrland, Länsförsäkringar Västernorrland, Nordea, Skandia and SPV. Co-funders includes Accountor, Aspia, Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, Handelsbanken, Härnösand Municipality, KPMG, Mitthem, NP3, PwC, Pro&Pro, Region Västernorrland, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB, SCA, SEB, Sundsvall Municipality, Swedbank, Timrå Municipality, Ånge Municipality, Örnsköldsvik Municipality.
Other collaborations (depicted outside the rings in the figure) include Ekonomi- forskningsstiftelsen (Economic Research Foundation) and two important networks for the Sundsvall region: The IT network Bron Innovation and the Myndighetsnätverket (network to facilitate collaboration between authorities in the Sundsvall region) There are also encounters created around student internships.
The benefit of participating in the CER network as a partner or co-funder is linked to near-industry research and the receipt of research results drafted in a popular science format when the centre disseminates information to the surrounding community. All results are available to all partners and co-financiers. Those who wish can also request exclusive results presentations and participate in various activities (seminars, webinars, etc.), which are arranged within the framework of the CER network.
