Research group from a German university visits for knowledge exchange
Last week, Mid Sweden University's Risk and Crisis Research Centre (RCR) was visited by the research group Management und Organisation in der Gefahrenabwehr, led by Dr. Patricia M. Schütte at Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
The visit resulted in fruitful discussions on ongoing and future projects in crisis management, civil defence and critical infrastructure. A valuable and important exchange of knowledge for continued research in crisis management and security, in collaboration with the German University Bergische Universität Wuppertal and the Center for Security in Society and Critical Infrastructures at Luleå University of Technology, where Christine Große is active.
The visiting research group consisted of project manager Patricia M. Schütte with a background in sociology and PhD students Malte Schönefelt, political science and Yannic Schulte, security engineer. Patricia's research focuses on security organisations, she works interdisciplinary and uses sociotechnical, social psychological and sociological methods.
