Katerina

Hi Katerina! How are you and tell me, who is Katerina?
I'm fine, thank you! I'm Katerina Lyubitska. I am from from Kharkiv, Ukraine.

What did you worked with in Ukraine?
In Ukraine I was a professor in Kharkiv National University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", I worked on Applied Mathematics department. I taught students various math courses and I also developed methods for solving problems of nonlinear pre- and post-buckling analysis of thin structures. Which can be modeling by plates and shallow shells according to different conditions.

How did you come in contact with Mid Sweden University?
I came in contact with the University thanks to my friend and classmate Artem Kulachenko. He is professor of Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

How do you feel about Sweden so far?
I like Sweden and Sundsvall very much, I only meet friendly and good people here. There is no excitement in the city, I feel calm. The Swedish nature is similar to the nature of Ukraine, but it is not as hot here and it is wonderful!

What do you do when you're not working?
In my free time, I spend time with my son. We play and walk around the city. We try to get acquainted with local customs and culture.
