Mid Sweden University and the company Media Research share examples of how their collaboration in data-driven development has created new AI solutions that have opened up completely new markets. Andreas Adler and Andreas Eriksson from CoreChange in Åre share their long experience and show practical examples of how AI can be used to scale e-commerce operations and streamline business processes, now and in the future.

Today's moderator Camilla Lindqvist from Samling Näringsliv welcomes you and introduces the day together with Jenni Olá, House Manager at House Be in Åre and Östersund and Therese Nordfelt from Åre Municipality.
08:45 “Collaboration for data-driven development - AI from idea to business benefit”
How can companies develop products and services using machine learning and data-driven development? At this program point, Mattias O'Nils, head of the STC research center at Mid Sweden University, will talk about how research in technologies such as the Internet of Things and AI contributes to driving development in the region's companies. You will also get to hear inspiring, real-life examples of how research collaborations create new business opportunities. One of these will be presented by Pär Segerström, CEO of Media Research, together with industrial doctoral student Faeze Zakaryapour. They will tell how an AI solution has already opened doors to completely new markets.

Andreas Adler and Andreas Eriksson from the company CoreChange have extensive experience in innovation development and digital transformation. They will provide practical examples of how AI can help e-commerce companies scale and expand faster, as well as a case study of how we digitize ownership changes in companies using AI.

Andreas Eriksson, CoreChange Group
Andreas Eriksson works as a project manager and responsible for Digital Innovation at CoreChange and is an award-winning digital entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in running challenging projects, complex processes and new businesses.
Andreas Adler, CoreChange Group
Andreas Adler is a project manager and responsible for Digital Commerce for CoreChange and has over 20 years of experience in digital development, mainly with a focus on e-commerce. He has previously been E-commerce Manager at one of Sweden's largest e-commerce companies and is co-founder of Sweden's largest digital loyalty club.
Faeze Zakaryapour, Industrial PhD Student
Faeze works as an industrial doctoral student, which means that in her position she both conducts research at Mid Sweden University and works with development at the company Media Research. Already after a year in the position, her AI model has been implemented as a process at Media Research, which creates completely new business opportunities for the company.
Pär Segerström, Media Research
Pär Segerström is the CEO of the Östersund-based company Media Research. Media Research has been around for over 20 years and monitors advertising markets for companies and organizations. Today, customers are mostly large companies from the automotive industry, the food industry, telecom operators and more. Pär will talk about the collaboration with Mid Sweden University, where the goal is to develop an AI solution that can process larger amounts of advertising data, which can open up completely new markets for the company.
Mattias O'Nils, Mid Sweden University
Mattias is a professor of electronics and heads the STC research center at Mid Sweden University. At STC, more than 80 researchers work in IoT, AI and sensors to promote development in industry and society. The research is carried out in electronics and computer technology, in close collaboration with the business community and through strong international networks.
