Head of STC in panel discussion at Unga Bünsow
For the second year in a row, Unga Bünsow was arranged in Sundsvall. An event that creates a meeting place for students and the business community. Included in the program was STC's leader, Prof. Mattias O'Nils, who discussed how AI and IoT affect work opportunities in the region.
On Tuesday, 150 students from Mid Sweden University came to the City Hall in Sundsvall to take part in the program for this year's edition of Unga Bünsow. On site were employers from 37 different companies who together had more than 70 job offers with them. During the day, the students got to mingle around among the company exhibitors and take part of the work opportunities that the region offers.
The program also offered a number of inspirational speakers, including Linnea Eronen from ABB Robotics, who has gone from being a trainee at the large company to now helping Volvo implement automation. Together with Emma Sundling from Valmet and STC's research leader Mattias O'Nils, they talked from the stage about the opportunities and challenges of AI.
