Adam presents his work on a halftime seminar
Last week, industrial PhD-student Adam Lundström, presented his work in a halftime seminar "AI for predictive and condition-based maintenance". Invited as opponent was Prof. Tomas Nordström from Umeå University.
Adam Lundström from SCA is one of the industrial PhD-students at the industrial research school Smart Industry Sweden. Adam investigates how machine learning can be used for predictive maintenance in industry. With the help of new technology, SCA wants to identify faults more easily and, above all, be able to predict when they are about to happen and thus prevent costly, unplanned stops.
Adam started with presenting his work for the audience and the opponent who afterwards got the opportunity to comment his work and give advice for the future. Adam will now continue his work with his doctoral thesis.
