Johan Bergman, a student at the ski-university worked for a few days together with the project's team, Dr. Benedikt Fasel, inventor, lecturer Marko Laaksonen and performance engineer Alessandro Galloppini, to provide feedback on new exciting features that will soon help both cross country and biathlon skiers in the national teams.

Mid Sweden University's project, Internet of Sports, in exciting feedback tests at Östersund Stadium:

The project, funded by the EU Regional Development Fund, Mid Sweden University (Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre) and Östersund Municipality, is a "driver" in sports and performance technology. In January and now in July, tests are being carried out in the ongoing development of new sensor technology for the national teams in cross country- and biathlon skiing. The next test at the upcoming World Championship arena will be conducted in August. Very interesting with this project, is the combined market strategy and scientific competence.

– The project also has a focus on contributing to the attraction around the stadium when it comes to both elite and public health, as attractive venues attract both people and investments, something that is regionally needed, says market strategist and project manager Kee Bergman.
