Feeling safe – digital tools in homecare
The purpose of the follow-up research of the pilot project is to evaluate the citizen, relatives' experience of safety, participation, confidence in self-being, health and activity before/after implementation of personalized digital solutions in connection with care and/or care efforts in the home.
The home are the own accommodation in the community in sparsely populated areas. As a human being, it is important to be able to be independent, safe, and feel belonging in a social context. If these needs are met, illhealth can be prevented when care and/or care measures are given in the individual home.
The pilotproject subject are to conduct care and/or healtcare in distans by digital tools and at the same time increase the citizen's experience of security, through new digital solutions. Healtcare and/or care in the pilot are organized by home care, municipal health care, and/or regional health care through a health centre.
In this projekt, the accompanying research of the pilot project focuses on caring and nursing where the citizen and relatives' experience of safety, participation, confidence in self-efficacy, health and activity is evaluated.
Qualitative and quantitative data is planned to be collected before the implementation of individual digital solutions and after 6 months, and 1 year. The data is planned to be analyzed in parallel at the start of the
pilot and at the end of the pilot and then analyzed together and follow-up one year after the end of the pilot.
The project plans to deliver the basis for interim report, final report, workshop to clients of research pilot projects and scientific publications.
This is a project in collaboration with Sundsvall municipality in accordance with the collaboration agreement.
