Pregnant women find themselves in a specific state - a condition that is not a disease but neither a normal state for a woman's health. In this study, we examine how pregnant women experience their quality of life, and factors that might affect this experience.

Gravid kvinna med händerna på magen

This project, focusing on quality of life during pregnancy, aims to investigate the usability of classic measures of quality of life in a population of pregnant women. We also investigate how different factors seem to affect pregnant women’s experience of quality of life, for example if social support, pregnancy complications, sleep problems, and fear of childbirth or other forms of worry might affect womens ratings of quality of life.

In this project we use mixed methods, including an online survey and interviews about quality of life with women that express fear of childbirth.
