Keynote speaker: Professor James Anaya
James Anaya is University Distinguished Professor and Nicholas Doman Professor of International Law at University of Colorado. He was formerly the James J. Lenoir Professor of Human Rights Law and Policy at the University of Arizona's James E. Rogers College of Law. 2008 – 2014 Professor Anaya was Special Rapporteur to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

Keynote speaker: Professor Ronán Long
Professor Ronán Long is Director of the WMU-Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute and holds the Nippon Foundation Professorial Chair of Ocean Governance and the Law of the Sea. Previous appointments include a Personal Professorship and the Jean Monnet Chair of European Law at the National University of Ireland Galway. 1993 – 2000 Professor Long was a permanent staff member at the European Commission.
