Project Observation UB
The project was a study in the form of observations in the public environment of the university library. Observations as a method are part of UX (User Experince), a collective concept for qualitative and ethnographic methods for investigating people's experience of a phenomenon or place. During two days in November 2017, visitors' ways of using the library were observed.
Schedule
The project started in October 2017 and was completed in March 2018.

Project Infrastructure UB - 2017
The project aims to ensure that a documented information structure is established within the organisation which allows all employees at the library to have access to the information they need to be able to perform their everyday tasks. The information structure includes shared email lists, shared document sharing areas, routines for forwarding specific questions from the information desk to specific recipients within the library, and information and knowledge sharing via blogs and shared calendars with associated guidelines for use.
Scedule
The project started in April 2017 and was completed in January 2018.

Project New library management system
The overall goal of the project is for the university library to have a new library management system solution in operation in the foreseeable future (about 2 years). Primarily a library management system that replaces the current Aleph, but the solution can consist of a whole concept from one supplier or several collaborative subsystems from different suppliers, commercial or open source.
The project can be divided into two phases with separate sub-goals. The first phase is the investigative part, whose goal is a requirement specification for a new system solution. Then follows the implementation phase, which aims to have a new system in operation.
