— The admissions figures are lower than the peak years of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 when we could see "a pandemic effect", but we also see that the admission figures are clearly higher than in the year before the pandemic. Our trend is the same as in the country as a whole, says Anders Fällström, Vice-Chancellor.

About 14,100 admissions to Mid Sweden University have been carried out in the first selection, just under 4,000 on programmes and just over 10,000 on courses.

There are more than 23,000 reserve positions at Mid Sweden University. The applicants now have until July 22 to accept their place of study. After this, a new selection is made and on 28 July a new admission letter will be sent to those who were placed in reserve in the first selection.

— At present, we see that about 2,000 of those admitted are linked to programmes and courses at Campus Sundsvall and just under 2,000 are connected to Campus Östersund. The remaining 10,000 admissions are to educational options that are given remotely and these can not yet be linked to any of the campuses, says Anders Fällström.

Mid Sweden University offers some 80 different programmes and more than 200 courses.
