Entry requirements Master's programmes
There are both general and specific entry requirements for our International Master's programmes. Applicants need to fulfil both to be allowed entry into a programme.
General entry requirements
This means that you must have completed a first degree (undergraduate) equivalent to at least 180 Swedish credits.
Specific entry requirements and English language proficiency
All programmes have specific entry requirements. This includes English language proficiency. Read more about English language proficiency.
In addition to the English language proficiency, the specific entry requirements also include completion of studies within a field relevant for the applied Master programme. For example, when applying for a Master’s programme in Business administration, applicants are required to prove that they have completed a certain number of credits within the field of Business administration.

If you are studying an undergraduate programme
You can apply to a Master's programme during the last year of your undergraduate programme. You are then required to submit a document written by your current university, stating when you are expected to graduate and the course outline for the last term. You must graduate from the undergraduate programme before the Master's programme starts.
Entry requirements Bachelor´s programmes
There are both general and specific entry requirements for our international bachelor´s programmes. Applicants need to fulfill both to be allowed entry into a programme.
General entry requirements
To fulfill the general entry requirements applicants must:

have successfully completed your upper secondary education

prove proficiency in the English language equivalent to English 6/English course B.
For applicants who completed their upper secondary education January 1st, 2010 or later, there is an additional entry requirement for mathematics. These applicants must:

have successfully completed courses in Mathematics to reach the level of the Swedish course Mathematics A (approximately 10 years of Mathematics studies).
Specific entry requirements and English language proficiency
All programmes have specific entry requirements. This includes that applicants must prove English language proficiency. Read more about English language proficiency.
In addition to proficiency in English language the specific entry requirements also include proving proficiency in other upper secondary education subjects, such as mathematics or physics.
