Computer Engineering MA, Performance Analysis and Simulation of Communication Systems, 6 credits
This project course prepares you for development of and research on today’s and tomorrow’s telecommunication systems. The course gives experience of performance analysis by means of computer simulation of communication systems, by means of tools such as MATLAB and Simulink. This may include simulation of stochastic processes, and state-machine representation of algorithms, presumably at the physical layer and data link layer. A real-world project is studied
Entry requirements
Computer Engineering, 45 credits, including programming 10 credits, and Computer Engineering MA, TCP/IP. Mathematics, 25 credits, including statistics or stochastic processes.
