Emotion theory is the foundation to all emotion related research fields. The aim of the course is to provide a deeper understanding about theoretical perspectives, with emphasis on implications that different perspectives may have on research questions and methods.

Syllabus

The structure of the teaching

The course ends with a mandatory meeting at the campus in Östersund, Sweden.

As there is mandatory web-seminars during the course, you need a headset, a webcam and a well-functioning internet connection.

Entry requirements

A bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits (ECTS) with a major in psychology. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree of at least 180 credits (ECTS) with a different major and 60 credits in psychology. Alternatively, 180 credits (ECTS) in psychology without the requirement of having a completed degree.
English B/English 6 from Swedish gymnasium or the equivalent.
