The student will gain a familiarity with working with the various parts of the design process. Project training is always carried out with external clients. This means that the student grows accustomed to working with industry representatives who, in turn, provides current information on how product development works.
The student should be able to:
- run a design project focusing on the basic methods of design methodology.
- develop the company's product in in terms of design.
- present a well planned result for clients and examiners.
The course includes the following modules:
Introduction to project training in the design profession
- The project training is aimed towards the training of basic methods in design methodology. This means that the student will work with data collection, analysis of the product and its use, creative methods and presentation methods in addition to presenting a result.
At least 60 Credits (ECTS) in Industrial Design or equivalent.
Selection rules and procedures
The selectionprocess is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.
The student is supervised by an external supervisor who works as a professional industrial designer. Active participation in all parts of the project, some of which may be carried out in groups.
