The course aims to develop understanding of the way that the human body adapts to the surrounding environment and to acute and chronic training. Specifically, the course covers the regulation of energy metabolism, respiration, cardiovascular system and muscle function and their roles in exercise performance.


The course offers physical meetings and mandatory physical meetings occcur.

Entry requirements

Bachelor’s degree of minimum 180 credits (including a degree project of at least 15 credits or equivalent internationally recognised degree) in Sports Science, Physical Education, Physiotherapy, Medicine or Human Biology.
