Sport Science MA, Exercise physiology II, 7,5 Credits

The course aims to develop understanding of the way that the human body adapts to the surrounding environment and to acute and chronic training. Specifically, the course covers the regulation of energy metabolism, respiration, cardiovascular system and muscle function and their roles in exercise performance.

Meetings

Included in the course is one physical meeting in Östersund (usually over 2-3 working days) where attendance is compulsory in order to satisfy the requirements for certain course modules.

Entry requirements

Bachelor’s degree of minimum 180 credits (including a degree project of at least 15 credits or equivalent internationally recognised degree) in Sports Science, Physical Education, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Human Biology or equivalent. English course 6/English course B from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or the equivalent.
