The course aims to provide a background of the methods used for the evaluation and analysis of sports performance and to develop understanding of how to independently integrate and implement these methods in sporting situations. The course is in English.

Meetings

Included in the course is one physical meeting in Östersund (usually over 2-3 working days) where attendance is compulsory in order to satisfy the requirements for certain course modules.

Entry requirements

A Bachelor degree consisting of at least 180 credits, including a degree project of at least 15 credits in sports science, physical education, physiotherapy or sports technology.

Or

A Bachelor degree consisting of at least 180 credits, including a degree project of at least 15 credits in another subject, as well as a minimum of 60 ECTS credits in one or more of the following subjects: exercise physiology, testing methods in sports science, sports technology, kinesiology, biomechanics, coaching and leadership, sports nutrition, sports medicine, and training sciences.

And

English course 6/English course B from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or the equivalent.
