Sports Science MA, Master Degree Project (one year), 30 credits
The course content aims to provide students with knowledge how to carry out an individual research project at advanced/master level in Sport Science. In addition, the course will prepare the students to independently design and conduct research project using different methodological and statistical approaches. The student should be able to apply both qualitative and quantitative research methods and to verbally and in a written form present and defend the research project at Master level.
Meetings
The course is delivered at half-speed (40 weeks) and as a distance course with three obligatory campus meetings (September, November, June), including the thesis presentation day.
Entry requirements
A Bachelor degree with at least 180 credits, including a degree project of at least 15 credits, or an equivalent foreign degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Physiotherapy or equivalent. English course 6/English course B from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or the equivalent.
