Aim

This course provides the students the understanding of change management in relation to information technologies, and how these may be related to business organizations, planning strategies and implementation of change programs both individually and in group dynamics.

Course objectives

• In-depth knowledge of work and organizational change arise from disruptive technologies and information technologies
• An understanding of how people function in a change situation.
• Skills in planning a change management in an organization
Understanding of project management as an instant of change management.

Selection rules and procedures

The selectionprocess is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance and the local order of admission.

Teaching form

Teaching is provided by means of lectures and seminars.

Examination form

4.0 hp S101: Seminars, hand-in assignments and excersices.
Grades: Pass or Fail

3.5 hp P101: Oral and written presentation of project work.
Grades: A, B, C, D, E, Fx and F. A-E are passed and Fx and F are failed.

Grading system

The grades A, B, C, D, E, Fx and F are given on the course. On this scale the grades A through E represent pass levels, whereas Fx and F represent fail levels.
