Course Package in Power Electronics, 30 credits
Power electronics are increasingly used in the electricity grid, electrified vehicles and to supply power to all electronic equipment used in modern society. The need for competence and new improved systems in power electronics is constantly growing.
The course package provides a thematic semester on enabling technologies for power electronics. You will learn the basics of power electronics circuits, analysis, design and control. Finally, you carry out a project where you deepens your knowledge in a specific field and design a power converter and where you learn the basics of conducting and communicating research.
The course package consists of the following courses: Power Converter Analysis, 7.5 credits, Control of Power Converters, 7.5 credits, Specialization Project within Power Electronics, 9 credits, and Scientific Writing and Research Methods, 6 credits.
