In this course you will learn about programming of embedded systems from a system perspective.
You will also learn about simulation of complete systems and how to select appropriate computing platforms depending on assigned task and its required performance.
Computing platforms typically have different programming models. In this course you will get a good introduction to embedded programming in C++ and digital hardware design on FPGA using VHDL.

Entry requirements

Electrical Engineering BA (AB), 60 credits, including digital electronics, microprocessors and analogue electronics.
