Aim
The Master programme in Political Science aims at providing students with skills to perform advanced social analysis and with in-depth knoweldge of political behavior, good governance, public administration and organisation analysis.
Programme objectives
For graduation, the student:
• be able to demonstrate knowledge in political science to be used in a scientific purpose
• able to demonstrate theoretical and practical skills in political science, both regarding national and international conditions
• have knowledge and skills for independent scientific work at the advanced level including the ability to communicate results to the environment consisting of both experts and those less familiar
• have the capacity and ability to apply the obtained knowledge in professional practice.

Entry requirements
Bachelor degree and at least 90 credits in the field of Political Science and a written thesis (essay) of at least 15 credits
English course 6/English course B from Swedish Upper Secondary School (Gymnasium) or the equivalent.
Description of programme
The Master (one-year) programme in political science aims at providing the students with both in-depth knowledge of political science and the competence to be able to manage projects and organizational changes. The program also aims at developing the ability to analyze complex issues in the context of writing evaluations, reports, and academic texts. The program is at the graduate level.
