Description of programme
Graphic design surrounds us everywhere. Working intentionally with design provides a good basis for the message to be perceived as the sender intended it to be. The modern communication society creates new demands for the design of messages. A requirement to be seen is a thoroughly planned and deliberate analysis, strategy and commutative idea that is unexpected, moving and which creates inclusion. In this, the packaging together with strategic communication plays a crucial part for the survival of the brand.
The Master’s programme should develop what on a national level is already unique in the Bachelor’s programme, that is, the combination of graphic design and communication specialising in packaging design.
Students participating in the Master’s programme should develop an in-depth understanding of the communicative role of the packaging through graphic design and communication. The programme extends over 2 years of fulltime studies and includes courses and features aiming to provide in-depth knowledge and skills in the area of packaging design and communication.
