Aim
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge about central theories and international research traditions on communicative labor that have been important for the development of the field.
Course objectives
After completing the course the student should be able to:
- explain central theories and research approaches in the field of communicative labor within organizational and strategic communication
- present and discuss the development of central theories and thematic academic debates in communicative labor theories over time
- critically reflect upon, and discuss, strengths and weaknesses in central theories and research approaches in communicative labor
Content
The course focuses on central theories and research approaches in the field of communicative labor, and intend to shed light on their relevance and role in contemporary research on organizational and strategic communication.
Entry requirements
A person meets the entry requirements for the course if he or she has been admitted to a third-cycle study programme and will be given credit for the course in that study programme.
