Sudden increase in the number of degrees | 2005 |
Statistics can be interpreted in many ways. In 2005, for example, we could see that the number of students who graduated from Mid Sweden University had suddenly increased to 1557, which was about 250 more than in previous years. Brilliant! But what did that matter?
The explanation was simple. Many students who had completed their studies in 2004 were simply expecting to graduate until January 2005 - when we got university status. So the sudden increase was not so strange, and we can gladly see that the number of degrees has continued to increase steadily. Today we land at about 1800 per year.
