Researchers ‑ increase your chances of being published
On 26 February, Sundsvall will host the penultimate series of workshops aimed at increasing the chances for researchers to be published internationally. The workshop is aimed at researchers who want practical support before publishing.
Volker Mauerhofer, professor at EHB and Felix Dobslaw, senior lecturer at KKI, run the ALP project "Publish or Perish". The title, which may seem a bit harsh, is about the importance of being published, and the project aims to provide answers to how to succeed with that.
"We hope to increase knowledge about writing abstracts for scientific journals and conferences, how to choose suitable journals and how to best manoeuvre through the process before publication," says Volker Mauerhofer.
The workshop on February 26 is in Sundsvall and is the penultimate one planned. Places are limited and registration is required to get a place. Registration is binding. The last workshop will be in Östersund this autumn, the workshop that is now in February is the last one to be arranged in Sundsvall.
"We turn to researchers early in their careers, primarily doctoral students. It's good if you have an abstract in the pipeline that we can work on during the workshop," says Felix Dobslaw.
The workshop is held in room C329. Schedule for the day:

10:00 - 10:30: Coffee break
