Inaugural lecture: Jimmy Jaldemark, Professor of Education
Jimmy Jaldemark is a professor of education and talks about his research during his inaugural lecture at the Academic Ceremony. The lecture is open to the public.
Technology-enhanced learning: From philosophical touchstones to artificial intelligence.
The lecture will address the evolution of technology-enhanced learning and its roots in societal and technological developments. This will range from the Greek philosophers' use of analog tools such as sticks to draw in the sand to today's rapid development of artificial intelligence and its importance for learning, education and working life. Historically, new technologies have been used relatively quickly to support human learning, consciously or unconsciously. This will continue in line with new developments. Creating knowledge about these developments and their significance for human learning is thus a task that I, as a professor of pedagogy, will be able to occupy myself with for many years.
