During the conference, there will be 46 oral sessions. In order to make the sessions run smoothly and keep to the schedule, there are some instructions we would like you to follow.

Visual presentations should be made in Powerpoint or be fully compatible with Powerpoint on a PC (Windows). Pay extra attention to the compatibility if you have audio or video in your presentation.

Each presentation is assigned an ID-number (Sx-xx) that can be found in the interactive agenda  https://coms.events/SRAE2018. Your file should be named with the ID-number and the presenters last name (e.g. S1-05_Olofsson.ppt).

All rooms are equipped with computers and projectors. The session rooms will be staffed for 30 minutes when registration opens, and during the first coffee break each day. Bring your presentation on a USB stick and upload it to the computer in your session room no later than the first coffee break on the day of your presentation. There will be a folder for each session on the computer desktop. Make sure you upload your presentation to the correct folder.

Please keep to the timeline of 15 minutes per paper with a Q&A session at the end, namely after all participants have presented, in order to facilitate those wishing to listen to presentations in multiple sessions. Session chairs will be requested to be strict on the timeline, so please manage your time accordingly.

Change in speker or cancellation

As a courtesy to the audience and to your session chair, please let us know as soon as possible if there is a change in your presentation. If there are last-minute difficulties, please arrange for one of your co-authors to present your paper rather than cancelling it. For changes in speaker or program prior to the meeting, please contact the conference organizing committee at rcr@miun.se

Special Issue of "Safety Science"

Additionally, instructions for sending a submission to the special issue of Safety Science you may find here: https://www.journals.elsevier.com/safety-science/call-for-papers/call-for-papers-for-the-special-issue-of-safety-science-on-r

The journal's author guidelines do not specify a word limit or a manual of style. As it concerns the latter, please make sure you are consistent. Additionally, and to ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, it is important that authors select the name of the special issue when they upload their manuscripts as VSI: SRA-E 2018. Only conference participants are eligible to be considered for publication to this special issue.

We also wish to inform you about the opportunity to submit a proposal to Palgrave Macmillan’s Critical Studies in Risk and Uncertainty series.
