Poster session instructions

Poster sessions will be held on Monday, June 18, from 6.10 pm to 7.30 pm in the foyer of P building.

Each poster is assigned to a numbered display panel in the foyer. You may find these numbers in the printed conference program (S19-xx). You should hang your poster approximately 30 minutes before the session begins. The display panel measures 60 (width) x 90 (height) cm. You will find push pins on your display panel.

Authors are expected to be standing in the vicinity of their poster during the entire session in order to answer questions. There will be refreshments to facilitate the flow of the audience during the session.

Presenters must remove their materials from the display panels at the end of the conference.

Good poster presentations display findings in a concise and easy-to-grasp fashion. For example, you may use color to highlight key aspects of an analysis, which is an effective way to help the viewer focus on the elements you consider to be the most important.

Title, Authors, and Institutional Affiliation: Provide this information at the top of the poster.

Avoid Clutter: Do not clutter the presentation with too many figures and avoid too much text. The point of the poster presentations is to use graphics to entice people to read the entire paper. More open space is easier on the eye, and its simplicity makes the presentation clear and easy to follow.

Plan Ahead: Preview the presentation prior to the conference to make sure information is legible from a distance of 1.5 meters.

The participants will have the opportunity to vote for best poster. The winner will be announced at the conference dinner and on our website.

Dr. Erna Danielsson and Dr. Pär Olausson will chair the session. Please do not hesitate to contact them if you have any questions.
