Background

Rasoul Shalchi Alishah was born in Alishah, Iran, in 1989. He received the B.Sc. degree in power electrical engineering from Azad University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2011, and the M.Sc. degree in power electrical engineering from Urmia University, Urmia, Iran, in 2013. Since 2014, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Tabriz. From September 2018 to September 2019, he was a post-doctoral researcher with the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran. Since October 2019, he joined as a Researcher at STC research center, Mid-Sweden University, Sweden.

He received the “Dr. Kazemi Ashtiani” award of the Iran National Elite Foundation. He has also been a member of the Talented Office of the University of Tabriz since 2014. He received the Best PhD thesis Award from of the Power Electronic Society of Iran (PESI) in 2019. He holds one patent in the area of multilevel converters. His current research interests include power electronic converters, multilevel converters, Switched-Mode Power Supplies, Grid-connected inverters, EMI, and FACTS Devices.
