After moving to Sweden I have worked with different organizations and collaborated with different stakeholders, including the municipality of Östersund, Jämtland-Härjedalen Sports Association, Jämtlands Gymnasiefförbund and Ung Företagsamhet, Länskulturen, Jämtland Härjedalen), The UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) and the Östersundshem-Inanföskapsakademin (IA).

Area of interest

Sustainable development, with a particular focus on:

Education which provides both knowledge and competencies
Global citizenship
Social Inclusion
Collaborative leadership and worldwide partnerships
Responsible consumption and production

Growing up with parents who have worked with regional development issues in a country that has experienced revolution, war and sanctions has aroused my interest in development issues. That interest was then reinforced into a passion for sustainability issues as I began my own working life in the areas of rural development and natural resource management. My passion took me to Mid Sweden University where I have the opportunity to work with it every day. My journey has proven to me that everyone can and must contribute to a better future.
