Simone Grimaldi received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the University of L'Aquila, Italy, in 2010 and 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in computer and system science with the Communication Systems and Networks Research Group, Mid Sweden University in 2020. In 2015, he was an M.Sc. thesis worker with ABB Corporate Research, Västerås, Sweden. In 2016 he received a research grant from Ericsson Research Foundation, and in 2016 and 2017, he was a visiting scholar at the Computer Science and Engineering Department, University of Connecticut (UCONN), USA. He is current a postoctoral reseracher with Mid Sweden University. His research interests include reliable wireless communication for critical IoT applications, interference management, and coexistence of wireless technologies.
