Special salary supplement for phD students
After negotiations (MBL-2001-01-24), the following has been decided regarding the special salary supplement for phD students:
That a special salary supplement of 0-3000 SEK is introduced for those with a phD position.
That the criteria that the special salary supplement for phD students is based on are:
- Special, qualified duties as part of the phD position
- Qualified and relevant work experience for research and other duties
- Market sensitivity
That the special salary supplement for phD students introduced from 2001-01-01 mainly applies to new recruits.
That the special salary supplement for existing phD students will be negotiated at the next salary review, and applies from 2001-04-01 or the date determined during negotiations.
That the parties otherwise refer to Annex 2 to ALFA; that is, the regulations on how salaries are determined etc.
That before finalising the agreement with the phD student and before deciding the SLT the head of department has to notify the matter to the HR-manager. This is because Mid Sweden University has to be able to coordinate follow-up and get an overview of the overall level of SLT.
That the parties evaluate and negotiate any changes, such as levels and criteria for the special salary supplement for phD students during the local salary review.
