Edit your personal page
What is a personal page?
A personal page is a page that is created automatically and shows your contact details as well as the publications you have in Diva. The personal page appears on your department/institution page when you click on your name under the menu option “Employees”. The personal page is also displayed when searching for you in our search. If you wish, you can fill the page with your own information
What are the benefits of a personal side?
- You get a personal page that can be used anywhere. You don't have to have one for the department, one for the research centre, etc.
- You get all your publications from Diva listed automatically. The publications are searchable from miun.se as well as from Google and other search engines.
- You can update everything on the page yourself except location, department/equivalent, phone number. If the information is incorrect you need to contact Helpdesk and they will change the information.
How to edit your personal page
To edit your personal page, you must be logged in at miun.se. When you’re logged in, you’ll see your name (initials) in the top menu.
- Click on your initials and click on “To personal page”.
- Click on “Edit”.
- Fill in your details and click on “Update”.
How do I add a picture of myself?
- Log in and go to your page (see point 1 above).
- Click on the “Change image” option.
- Upload your new image.
What address does my page have?
The address of your page is miun.se/fornamnefternamn or miun.se/en/fornamnefternamn if you want to refer to your English page.
What can the Helpdesk help you with?
Helpdesk can change your phone number or location.
If there are people missing from the employee list or if people are to be removed, ask your manager to notify Helpdesk, and they will correct it.
How do the publication lists work?
The publication lists are created automatically from the data contained in DIVA, so it is important that you register your publications there.
Conference articles and other publications in the publication list are presented with icons linking to full text versions.
The three different icons are:
- Doi icon leading to the publisher’s full text
- Padlock icon indicating that the publisher’s full text is free
- PDF icon that leads to full text in DIVA or other repositories
