The International Sustainable Development Research Society (ISDRS) is pleased to announce its 27th annual conference to be held on July 13 – 15, 2021, with PhD Workshop July 12, 2021, hosted by the Faculty of Science, Technology and Media, Mid Sweden University.

Accelerating the progress towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in times of crisis

This online conference covers sustainability in relation to all the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the virtue of the COVID-19 crisis and beyond. It aims to investigate the most current trends and implications for the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainable development. The annual conference is this time given online. The Department of EHB and Professors Volker Mauerhofer and Catrin Johansson are Chairmans of the conference.

Call for Abstract

We are now opening Call for Abstract and all researchers can submit their applications. Abstracts will be submitted via the OxfordAbstracts platform:

The conference contains 10 tracks and a total of 32 sessions. 88 researchers, including Bengt-Gunnar Jonsson, Anders Jonsson, Anna-Sara Fagerholm, Kristen Snyder, Catrin Johansson, Sara Nyhlén, Volker Mauerhofer, Itai Danielski, Juha Fiskari from Mid Sweden University will be chairmans of the different tracks.

There will also be 12 keynote speakers and plenary sessions with panels of experts. One of the speakers is Hans Brunynckx, Executive Director, European Environmental Agency - EEA.
