This fall the education on campus is planned to resume - but a corona-adapted one. It was decided at the vice-chancellor’s decision meeting today. So far, the decision only applies to the first semester of the fall term.

During the meeting, it was decided that it is the head of department who will decide which programs and courses are to be given on campus, and which courses are prioritized to conduct written examinations on campus. This shall be done in consultation with the program manager and course coordinator, alternatively the director of studies or equivalent, after dialogue with the student unions.

For campus teaching and examination, however, only half of the seats in a hall may be booked, and it is recommended to maximize the number of seats in a hall to 50 so that the students can keep their distance from each other. If the groups are larger, it may therefore be necessary to carry out teaching and examination digitally.

At the meeting, it was also decided that courses with compulsory elements that are crucial for students' progression and that must be completed on campus, are prioritized for campus teaching.

A decision on employee attendance on campus this autumn will be made at a later date.

If there is a change in the spread of the infection, the decision may change.
