The work with the faculty’s organization is progressing according to the action plan. There is, however, some work remaining before the vice-chancellor can decide on the new organization. For example, there is still the issue of naming the new institutions.
Name suggestions wanted!
All subjects are hereby invited to submit suggestions for names and department abbreviations for the new departments. As a starting point, the faculty office has produced a list of examples, which you will find below. The example for B institution comes from a general assembly with the new institution's employees, which took place in the spring of 2022.
The subjects can send name suggestions to Maria Torstensson no later than October 17 together with a brief description of how the suggestion has been anchored in the college. The names should reflect the business and be easy to say. The chancellery will compile the proposals and they then form the basis for the dean's decision to propose the rector to establish the new departments.
