New people and roles in the university's management

There will be some changes in senior positions in the university from the turn of the year in the form of a new pro-vice-chancellor, new deputy vice-chancellors and an acting management of the Faculty of Humanities.

At the RBM-meeting on 21 November, Håkan Wiklund was appointed as the new deputy vice-chancellor for Quality issues, an assignment of 25% initially. The assignment includes, among other things, working with and managing overall quality issues, on behalf of the vice-chancellor.
 
At the same meeting, Marie Häggström was appointed new deputy vice-chancellor for Education, corresponding to 30 % of the position. The assignment includes, on behalf of the vice-chancellor, working with and pursuing general education issues.
 
It is clear that Anna Olofsson will take office as pro-vice-vhancellor on January 1, 2024, which means that she will leave the role of dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences. The new acting dean until the turn of the year 2024 will be Sandra Wall-Reinius and the new acting associate dean during the same period will be Peter Degerman.

Earlier this year, Hans-Erik Nilsson took office as deputy vice-chancellor for innovation and business issues. Dan Bylund has been the new dean of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Media since the summer, and Ingela Bäckström continues as a associate aean.
