Seminar: MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship
In May, the Grants Office offer a seminar on writing competitive Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship applications.
The seminar is aimed at early career researchers (< 8 years since PhD, see eligibility criteria below) who work at MIUN and are interested in going abroad to strengthen their research career or external researchers, who wish to develop their scientific vision, network, and skills at MIUN. MIUN has many highly profiled research environments and world-class research infrastructures: https://www.miun.se/en/research/
During the seminar we will go through the application process and how to write a successful application. The seminar will end with a voluntary session where you can start writing your own application.
Contact grantsoffice@miun.se to sign up for the event! Also, contact us if you can’t attend these dates and are interested in an online event later this year. You can also contact research advisor Katrin Lindbäck, katrin.lindback@miun.se, if you have any questions.

What does the fellowship offer?
Opportunities to work on personal research projects by moving between countries and possibly sectors to acquire new skills. The mobility can be within or outside the EU, or to attract foreign researchers to work in the EU. The grant covers two years’ salary, a mobility allowance, research costs, and overhead for the host institution.
Who can apply?
Individual researchers together with the host organization. The requirement is that the researcher holds a doctoral degree with no more than 8 years of experience after the completion of the PhD (deducing time not dedicated for research, e.g., teaching duties, parental leave). If you are a citizen or long-term resident in an EU or associated country, then time spent outside Europe can also be deducted, but it has to be well documented. For external researchers, you can only have worked or lived in Sweden less than a year the last three years.
The seminar is open to applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria above. If you are not currently associated with MIUN you must identify a potential MIUN supervisor willing to support the application.
