The wind snapped the flagpole
A broken flagpole and a blown-down tree - that's what the unruly weather has caused next to Campus Östersund so far. There are no known consequences of the weather for Campus Sundsvall yet.
The weather has caused a bit of a mess in the vicinity of Campus Östersund. A flagpole outside the Public Health Authority had to be taken down after it was cracked by the wind, says Jerker Häggström, property manager at Intea Fastigheter AB.
- A tree has also blown over on Regementsgatan outside House B, but the municipality has taken care of that. Then it has trickled down a bit into the Students' House, but it's happened before, so it's nothing new. We are always a little extra vigilant when things like this happen and take rounds to keep an eye on wells and the like, he says.
